Anthony “Tony” DeSalvo - Executive Vice President / Chief Credit Officer
Tony joined Discovery Bank in 2007 to head up the bank’s loan division. He is responsible for overall loan administration, production, compliance and regulatory procedures, internal policy development, portfolio quality and loan officer training.
Tony is a long-time banking professional who began his career with banks in Maine and Massachusetts before moving to California in 1978 to join Security Pacific National Bank in Los Angeles. He later served as chief lending officer for two independent banks in the L.A. area: Bay Cities National Bank in Redondo Beach and South Bay Bank in Torrance.
He holds a bachelor of science degree from Boston College and a law degree from Western Sierra Law School in San Diego. He also has banking education credentials from Williams College School of Banking and the University of New Hampshire risk management program.
