IN SUPPORT OF SCOTT EVELAND

On Friday September 14th, 2007, during a home game of the Mission Hills Grizzlies against Santee’s West Hills High Wolfpack, linebacker #54, Scott "Scotty" Eveland sustained a critical head injury and remains at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido.

He is now out of the coma, completely off life support and going through physical therapy. He is working very hard. He has the spirit to win. Everything he is able to accomplish is with much assistance. He does seem to be getting stronger and inching forward in what will be a very long road to recovery.

Scott’s family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation for the incredible outpouring of love and support we have felt from the community. We ask that you hold him in your heart, and continue to pray for his speedy recovery.
