discovery women

Discovery Women is a select group of successful business women dedicated to helping each other. The group includes employees (shown above), clients, and supporters of Discovery Bank. Discovery Women's expertise combines commercial real estate financing, construction financing, cash management, SBA programs, business financing, letters of credit, and human resources. The group has members who represent a wide variety of professions, including law, business consulting, marketing and communications, property management, construction, and accountancy.

The goal is to provide the group with information that will help grow their businesses, and also to provide a forum where they can talk with, and hopefully benefit from each other.
2006 saw Discovery Women's launch event, a catered luncheon in Discovery Bank's board room. Colette Carlson presented a highly entertaining and informative seminar which dealt with communication skills. Since the launch event, the group has held several mixers where members were able to get better acquainted with each other.
